Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work full-time according to scheduled shifts
Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
Completion of required company training programs
Ability to safely handle food and chemicals according to standards
Ability to stand, walk, and lift as required by the job
Reliable attendance and punctuality with prior notification of absence or tardiness
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Compliance with health and safety regulations
Demonstrated teamwork and customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
One to three months of related experience or training preferred
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
Basic mathematical skills for handling money and measurement tasks
Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
Demonstrated dependability and punctuality
Ability to work cooperatively within a team and support fellow associates
Completion of company-mandated training including food safety, sanitation, and customer service
Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and perform tasks involving standing, walking, and manual dexterity

Job Duties

Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
Prepare, process, package, and stock fresh food products according to company standards
Provide exceptional customer service through genuine, clear communication and prompt assistance
Operate bakery and food preparation equipment effectively
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, counters, and displays
Unload and stock merchandise according to Fresh Foods standards
Follow all safety, food safety, and sanitation regulations
Assist in inventory management, price changes, and record keeping
Communicate product information and promotions to customers and associates
Handle customer requests and complaints courteously and escalate when necessary
Collaborate with fellow associates to maintain a positive and efficient work environment
Manage product rotation, markdowns, and ensure freshness
Conduct quality checks on refrigerated and stored products
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to perform multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities
