Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- able to obtain a valid class B Illinois driver's license
- good work history
- record of safe driving for five years
- able to sit and operate a vehicle for extended periods
- able to work in all types of weather conditions
- successful completion of training and route familiarization program
Job Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age

- successful completion of training and route familiarization program
- excellent oral and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Transporting passengers on predetermined routes
- assisting with route and fare information
- monitoring farebox to ensure correct fare has been deposited
- dispensing and collecting transfers
- filing daily defect cards noting mechanical and body defects
- reporting route detours and passenger assistance needs to dispatcher via radio
- recording farebox readings and special passenger counts
- maintaining daily worksheets
- completing accident and incident reports
- performing other duties as assigned
