Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year previous driving experience
- One year experience in customer service or related field
- Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Physical before start date
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license required
- No drug or alcohol offenses in the last 3 years
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous driving experience of at least one year
- Experience in customer service or related field for at least one year
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of computer operations
- Ability to operate on-board computer and handheld scanner
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting and pushing up to 350 pounds
- Professional appearance and punctuality
Job Duties
- Ensure safe, accurate, timely, and efficient deliveries of GFS products
- Build and maintain good customer relationships
- Accurately collect customer payments and safeguard company funds following banking policies
- Perform all Sales Service functions by the 90th day of employment
- Perform proper equipment maintenance, monitor reefer temperature, and report mechanical issues and damages timely
- Complete daily check-ins with no errors and manage related paperwork
- Perform daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicles and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned either in store or driver related
