Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One year previous driving experience
One year experience in customer service or related field
Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Physical before start date
Valid unrestricted driver’s license required
No drug or alcohol offenses in the last 3 years
Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous driving experience of at least one year
Experience in customer service or related field for at least one year
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Basic knowledge of computer operations
Ability to operate on-board computer and handheld scanner
Ability to meet physical demands including lifting and pushing up to 350 pounds
Professional appearance and punctuality

Job Duties

Ensure safe, accurate, timely, and efficient deliveries of GFS products
Build and maintain good customer relationships
Accurately collect customer payments and safeguard company funds following banking policies
Perform all Sales Service functions by the 90th day of employment
Perform proper equipment maintenance, monitor reefer temperature, and report mechanical issues and damages timely
Complete daily check-ins with no errors and manage related paperwork
Perform daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicles and equipment
Perform other duties as assigned either in store or driver related
