The position available is for a Full-Time Gordon Food Service Box Truck Driver at the Gordon Restaurant Market. This role involves delivering GFS products in a courteous, timely, and accurate manner while maintaining a professional image and acting as a liaison between GFS management and customers. The driver is responsible for ensuring that deliveries are made safely and efficiently, while cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships. Additionally, the role entails accurately collecting customer payments, safeguarding company funds by following GFS banking policies, and mastering all Sales Service functions within the first 90 days of employment.

Drivers must be capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling product loads, including operating a two-wheeled hand truck with loads up to 350 pounds. Familiarity with operating onboard computers and handheld scanners is necessary, as is some basic knowledge of computer operations. The role offers an hourly pay rate ranging from $22.41 to $31.00, based on experience.

Gordon Food Service offers a variety of benefits designed to support employee well-being, including profit sharing and a 401(k) plan, employee assistance programs, 24/7 mental health support through ComPsych, employee discounts on purchases, and access to the Beneplace discount program. Eligible employees can enjoy affordable health insurance options, including prescription, dental, and vision plans, as well as short-term and long-term disability insurance. Paid time off (PTO) and flex time help employees achieve a work-life balance, while the company note savings program and 12 weeks of fully paid maternity leave provide added financial security and family support. Health management resources and wellness programs further demonstrate the company's commitment to the health and happiness of its workforce.
