The position available is for a Full-Time Gordon Food Service Box Truck Driver at the Gordon Restaurant Market. This role involves delivering GFS products in a courteous, timely, and accurate manner while maintaining a professional image and acting as a liaison between GFS management and customers. The driver is responsible for ensuring that deliveries are made safely and efficiently, while cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships. Additionally, the role entails accurately collecting customer payments, safeguarding company funds by following GFS banking policies, and mastering all Sales Service functions within the first 90 days of employment.

Truck drivers are expected to perform essential equipment maintenance tasks such as monitoring reefer temperatures and reporting any mechanical issues or damages promptly. They must complete daily vehicle inspections, manage delivery paperwork including registers and credits, and carry out pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Beyond driving duties, the position may also include other store-related tasks as assigned.
