Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year previous driving experience
- One year experience in customer service or related field
- Must have or be able to obtain a DOT physical before start date
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license
- No drug or alcohol offenses in the last 3 years
- Must be at least 21 years of age

- Ability to adhere to all safety and compliance regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to operate on-board computer and handheld scanner
- Basic knowledge of computer operations
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting and operating a two-wheeled hand truck with up to 350 pounds
Job Duties
- Ensure safe, accurate, timely, and efficient deliveries of GFS products
- Build and maintain good customer relationships
- Accurately collect customer payments
- safeguard company funds and follow GFS banking policies
- Perform all Sales Service functions by the 90th day of employment
- Perform proper equipment maintenance, monitor reefer temperature, and report mechanical issues and damages in a timely manner
- Complete daily check-ins with no errors while managing paperwork including register, credits, and pick-ups
- Perform daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicles and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned either in store or driver related
