Job Description
Freedom Square of Seminole is an upscale senior living community situated in the picturesque city of Seminole, Florida. This unique community is designed to resemble a quaint town square, complete with paved brick streets and a welcoming gazebo, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for its residents. Located just a short drive from Lake Seminole and the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast, the community is spread across 15 scenic acres that include two tranquil ponds and lush garden-like surroundings. Freedom Square offers a blend of elegant residential options, a broad array of exceptional services and amenities, and a vibrant calendar filled with engaging activities, all aimed at enriching the lives of its senior residents.
As a life care community, Freedom Square simplifies the process of aging in place by allowing residents seamless transitions across different levels of care—from independent living to assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing—as their healthcare needs evolve. This commitment to comprehensive care makes it an ideal environment for seniors who want security and comfort in their retirement years. The community prides itself on a fun and inclusive workplace culture, featuring monthly luncheons and campus-wide events that bring employees and residents together. It boasts clean facilities, low acuity patients, good staffing ratios, and competitive benefits for both full-time and part-time staff including paid time off, paid holidays, career advancement opportunities, paid training, and even a resident scholarship fund.
The role of Bistro Associate at Freedom Square of Seminole is a vital part of the community’s culinary team. The position is crafted for energetic individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a genuine desire to serve others. As a Bistro Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent guest experience through food preparation, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, and providing friendly, efficient customer service. The role demands strong multitasking skills to maintain quality, cleanliness, and professionalism while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience for all guests.
The Bistro Associate helps foster a positive and welcoming environment that aligns with Freedom Square’s culture of hospitality. The community emphasizes interpersonal interactions that are warm, respectful, attentive, and professional. This includes greeting residents and guests by name with a smile, anticipating needs, responding enthusiastically and promptly, embracing diversity, and holding oneself accountable for high service standards. Those in this role help maintain the integrity of the community’s culinary services by upholding food safety standards and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. This job offers not only the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the community but also benefits such as DailyPay, which allows employees to access their earned income on-demand, along with traditional benefits like health, dental, vision, 401K, and more. Overall, the Bistro Associate position is an excellent choice for those who want a meaningful, dynamic job contributing to the well-being of senior residents in a beautiful, supportive setting.
