Job Description

Kachina Cantina is a vibrant and modern cantina located in the historic LoDo district of Denver, offering an inviting escape with a unique blend of influences from the Four Corners region of Southwest America and Baja Mexico. As part of the Sage Restaurant Group, Kachina supports a team-oriented and dynamic environment where innovation and locally-focused food and beverage experiences thrive. Sage Restaurant Group is known for creating independent restaurants and lounges that complement their hotel properties in prime locations across the nation. This collective approach ensures that every venue provides a thoughtfully designed atmosphere paired with exceptional culinary offerings and engaging service, fostering strong connections with the communities they serve.

At Kachina, employees enjoy being part of a growing company with opportunities for career advancement and development. The team is dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences by combining quality service, innovative drink creations, and a lively ambiance. As a bartender at Kachina Cantina, you will play a crucial role in maintaining this high standard and ensuring guests have an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of USD $16.27, highlighting the company’s commitment to rewarding its team members.

The bartender position involves responsibilities such as setting up the bar, mixing and serving drinks in accordance with company guidelines, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. The role requires adherence to company standards, liquor laws, and safety procedures, all while delivering courteous and efficient service. Additionally, bartenders are responsible for handling cash and credit transactions accurately and updating inventory through liquor requisitions and supply lists. This role demands physical endurance, with tasks including lifting, carrying, and standing for prolonged periods, as well as the ability to multitask and manage guest interactions professionally in a busy, social environment.

The successful candidate will bring bartending experience, proper certifications, and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality. Kachina encourages candidates who are enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced setting and eager to contribute to a positive team culture to apply before July 15th or until the position is filled. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected company known for its innovative dining concepts and commitment to employee growth, health, and well-being. Benefit offerings include medical and dental insurance with employer contributions, 401(k) matching, health savings accounts, employee assistance programs, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more, all designed to support the long-term success and satisfaction of their staff.
