Job Description

Town and Country Resort is a distinctive destination located in the heart of San Diego, known for blending mid-century charm with contemporary energy to create an engaging and vibrant environment. As a popular resort, it features lush grounds and lively dining venues that not only offer memorable experiences for guests but also foster a welcoming and energetic workplace for team members. The resort excels in hospitality by paying attention to every detail that makes a stay special, ensuring guests feel at home while enjoying top-notch amenities and excellent service. The community-focused culture here emphasizes team wellbeing alongside guest satisfaction, which is reflected in the range of benefits and opportunities available to employees.

Nestled within the Town and Country Resort, The MRKT is a vibrant quick-service venue that is highly regarded for its quality coffee, quick bites, and grab-and-go offerings. It serves as the ideal morning hub for guests and locals alike, where people start their day with a great cup of coffee and experience friendly, personalized service. Known for a welcoming atmosphere where regular customers are often greeted by name and with their usual orders, The MRKT is all about creating small but meaningful moments of joy through excellent coffee and mindful service.

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Barista who is either experienced with espresso machines or eager to learn quickly and deliver great customer service. This role is perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy contributing to a positive coffee culture. The barista will be a crucial part of the morning rush and throughout the day, crafting espresso drinks, preparing food items with consistent quality, and maintaining a clean, organized space. The ideal candidate will have a bubbly personality combined with efficiency and precision, able to handle multiple tasks without compromising quality or customer interaction.

This position offers a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour and operates during the shift hours from 6 AM to 11 PM. Beyond the rewarding role in hospitality, Town and Country Resort values employee satisfaction, which is why it provides an attractive benefits package including complimentary stays for employees and their families, free lunch provided daily in the employee cafeteria, free parking, and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan. Full-time employees can also take advantage of comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, along with employer-paid life insurance, which ensures peace of mind and demonstrates the resort’s commitment to its team’s health and security. This is a workplace where individuals can grow their careers in hospitality while being part of a community that appreciates and supports its members.
