The company values its employees and seeks to foster a collaborative and supportive workplace culture where team members can thrive and contribute to the overall success of the business. Offering a variety of full-time and part-time positions, Harris Teeter caters to a broad customer base and aims to provide career growth opportunities for its associates.

Attention to detail and adherence to Fresh Foods standards are critical to this role, as is the demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.

The role requires interaction with customers and coworkers, emphasizing the importance of exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuous learning through required training programs. Lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and sometimes up to 50 pounds is also necessary. This requires an associate to have physical stamina and to follow safety guidelines to ensure their well-being on the job.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a high school diploma or GED, or those with one to three months of related experience or training, who are at least 18 years old, and who have basic English literacy, mathematical, and reasoning skills.
