Job Requirements
- Associates must be at least 18 years of age
- willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training
- exceptional interpersonal skills
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- complete company's training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
- physical ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, taste or smell
- ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- visual abilities including close vision, color, and depth perception
- ability to work in moderate environment with frequent exposure to hot, cool and extreme cold, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals
- able to tolerate noise levels from moderate to loud
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience or training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- basic mathematical skills including addition and subtraction of two digit numbers and operations involving American money and weight
Job Duties
- Bake products according to standards
- process, package, and stock Fresh Foods products according to Fresh Foods Standards
- clean work areas
- provide customer service
- unload stock
- reload salvage
