The company's core values revolve around integrity, respect, responsibility, and consistency, which are evident in its approach to store management and in its employee culture. ALDI is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, providing career development opportunities and competitive benefits to its employees. As a full-time position, the Assistant Store Manager role offers a starting wage of $25.50 per hour, increasing to $26.50 per hour in the second year, with an average of 38 hours per week.

The role of Assistant Store Manager at ALDI is pivotal to ensuring the smooth daily operation and overall success of the store. This position involves assisting the Store Manager in supervising day-to-day activities, managing staff schedules, and optimizing store performance. This position demands strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to multitask in a dynamic retail setting. Candidates must be 18 years or older, with a minimum of three years of progressive retail experience, preferably with prior management exposure. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, but ALDI values a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge.

Assistant Store Managers must demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team, lead and develop employees, and apply company policies to achieve store goals including payroll and budget adherence.
