The Assistant Store Manager role at ALDI is a full-time position averaging 38 hours per week, starting at $25.50 per hour with a wage increase to $26.50 in the second year. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the direct leader with managing the daily operations of the store. Responsibilities include overseeing store activities to ensure optimal performance, managing team schedules, and developing actionable plans to improve operational outcomes. The Assistant Store Manager is pivotal in fostering a positive work culture by identifying training opportunities and encouraging team growth. They are expected to uphold ALDI's core values, model exemplary behavior, and maintain open communication channels within the store team. Handling customer service issues professionally in the absence of the direct leader is a key duty, alongside inventory management to ensure store stock levels meet customer demand.
