With over decades in retail, ALDI continues to invest in its people, infrastructure, and community involvement to maintain its competitive edge and foster customer loyalty.
Joining ALDI as an Assistant Store Manager means becoming a crucial part of a highly motivated team focused on store operational excellence and superior customer service. This full-time role offers an average of 38 hours per week starting at a competitive wage of 27 dollars per hour, with a wage increase to 28 dollars per hour in the second year. The position entails supporting the store manager in supervising daily store functions, managing staff schedules, and ensuring that the store not only meets but exceeds performance goals.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in developing and implementing operational action plans to improve store results and efficiency. Additionally, managing payroll and loss budget goals, supervising operational duties, and reinforcing company policies will be essential to achieving store success.
Physically, the role requires the ability to lift and stock products weighing up to 45 pounds, along with periodic requirements of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the store. You must be able to perform these tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.
