Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in a retail environment
Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
Prior management experience preferred
Ability to provide and lead others in customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate retail and store equipment safely
Experience with budgeting and personnel management
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Knowledge of company policies and store operations

Job Duties

Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
Identify training and development opportunities for team members
Understand and model company strategy and core values
Monitor the competitive environment and communicate necessary adjustments
Provide product feedback including recommendations for new or discontinued items
Participate in interviewing store personnel
Communicate weekly updates, milestones, and concerns
Ensure adherence to inventory, product handling, and cash control policies
Resolve operational customer concerns in leader's absence
Identify and rectify hazards and maintain store equipment
Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage
Assist with maintaining stock levels through product ordering
Merchandise products neatly to maximize sales
Ensure product quality, freshness, and accurate signage
Assist with store payroll, budgeting, inventory counts, and training new employees
Supervise day-to-day team operations, escalating issues as needed
Ensure timely and effective completion of responsibilities by direct reports
Comply with company policies and maintain confidentiality of documents and data
Perform other duties as assigned
