Job Description

The Cheesecake Factory is a prominent leader in the experiential dining industry, renowned for its culinary-forward approach and relentless focus on hospitality. Since 2014, it has consistently been named to FORTUNE Magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work For list, reflecting its commitment to outstanding workplace culture and employee satisfaction. The company operates 353 restaurants across the United States and Canada under various brands, including The Cheesecake Factory, North Italia, Flower Child, and other FRC brands. Additionally, there are 34 internationally licensed Cheesecake Factory locations. The bakery division supports operations by producing high-quality cheesecakes and baked goods for company restaurants, international licensees, and third-party customers. With a strong focus on growth and inclusivity, The Cheesecake Factory is an E-Verify employer and provides reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.

The role of Busser at The Cheesecake Factory is integral to delivering a memorable dining experience. As part of a high-volume, full-service restaurant team, Bussers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining rooms, ensuring that tables are cleared and reset efficiently to accommodate every guest. This position requires speed, efficiency, and a strong sense of urgency to support servers, bartenders, and hosts in creating a welcoming and seamless atmosphere from the moment guests enter until they leave. Bussers are the foundation of the front-of-house team, enabling smooth operations by pre-bussing tables, refilling beverages, assisting with guest requests, and performing station setups and breakdowns.

This role offers flexible scheduling options with full-time and part-time availability designed to fit various lifestyles. Employees enjoy substantial benefits, including a 50% discount on shift meals and a 25% discount when dining with friends or family. Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage options are available, with medical plans starting at an affordable rate of $12 per pay period. The Cheesecake Factory further supports employee well-being with virtual care services and no-cost online mental health programs.

In addition to health benefits, The Cheesecake Factory invests in employee development through world-class training programs that encourage personal and professional growth. Unique educational opportunities are offered at no cost, including GED and Associate Degree programs. Team members also gain access to various perks and discounts, such as savings on cell phone plans, gym memberships, movie tickets, and theme park admissions. The company fosters a supportive community environment with programs like the Hardship and Emergency Lifeline Program (HELP Fund) and provides employees with chances to engage in charitable and community events.
