Job Description
The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is a renowned leader in the experiential dining industry, recognized consistently on FORTUNE Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" list since 2014. As a culinary-forward establishment, The Cheesecake Factory is passionately committed to delivering exceptional hospitality and memorable dining experiences. It currently owns and operates over 370 restaurants across the United States and Canada under multiple acclaimed brands such as The Cheesecake Factory, North Italia, and Flower Child, among others. Internationally, it manages 35 restaurants through licensing agreements, complemented by a bakery division that produces high-quality cheesecakes and baked goods for its restaurants, licensees, and third-party customers. This vast network is supported by a strong corporate culture emphasizing employee well-being, professional growth, and community involvement.
Joining The Cheesecake Factory as a Busser means becoming part of a high-volume, full-service restaurant team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences for every guest that walks through the door. Bussers play a critical role in setting the stage by maintaining dining rooms that are clean, organized, and ready for service. This role requires speed, efficiency, and strong teamwork as you support servers, bartenders, and hosts by clearing and resetting tables promptly and attentively. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including full-time and part-time opportunities to fit a variety of lifestyles.
The role of a Busser is vital to ensuring guests feel welcomed from the moment they arrive until their dining experience concludes. It is not just about clearing tables but also about supporting the front-of-house team by performing tasks like station setup and breakdown, restocking supplies, and assisting with guest requests. This dynamic role offers an excellent chance to develop strong communication skills and guest service expertise while working alongside dedicated hospitality professionals. Additionally, The Cheesecake Factory invests in its employees by providing world-class training designed to foster personal and professional growth, as well as offering no-cost GED or Associate Degree programs to help advance educational opportunities.
Benefits of working at The Cheesecake Factory extend beyond competitive earnings potential and a vibrant work environment. Employees enjoy 50% off shift meals, a 25% discount when dining with friends and family, and comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage options with medical plans starting as low as $12 per pay period. Virtual care and no-cost online mental health services also support employees’ well-being. Other perks include exclusive discounts on cell phones, gym memberships, movies, and theme parks, as well as access to the HELP Fund for hardship and emergency assistance. The Cheesecake Factory also encourages community involvement through charity events, reinforcing a supportive and inclusive culture.
If you have previous experience in restaurants, hospitality, or food service and are looking for a high-energy environment where you can contribute as part of a team and deliver excellent guest experiences, this Busser position at The Cheesecake Factory is the perfect opportunity to grow your career in hospitality. The company is committed to reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities, fostering diversity and equal opportunity in their hiring process.
