Job Description
Clarendale Ann Arbor is a distinguished senior living community dedicated to offering exceptional care and a vibrant lifestyle to its residents. As a part of this extraordinary company, employees are not merely workers but integral contributors to enriching the lives of some of the wisest people on earth. Clarendale Ann Arbor takes pride in investing in the future of senior living by focusing on the growth and well-being of its team members. The community embraces a warm and hospitable culture, emphasizing respect, accountability, and genuine connection among residents, staff, and guests alike.
The role of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Clarendale Ann Arbor is a vital position that focuses on delivering direct nursing care and supervising care provided by Quality of Life Specialists and Resident Assistants. This hospitality-focused position is perfectly suited for compassionate professionals who are enthusiastic about senior care and community engagement. The LPN works hands-on with residents, assisting with Activities of Daily Living, monitoring health conditions, developing care plans, and ensuring that nursing practices align with medical and administrative standards. The position is not just about fulfilling clinical duties but also about fostering a community where residents feel valued, respected, and empowered to maintain their independence.
In this capacity, the LPN provides crucial daily reports to the Director of Health Services regarding community conditions, personnel dynamics, nursing supply needs, and resident health status. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying medical or behavioral changes among residents and responding with appropriate care strategies. Nurses at Clarendale Ann Arbor also play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary care, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative services tailored to their specific needs.
Clarendale Ann Arbor is looking for LPN candidates who hold a current and valid nursing license in the state of Michigan and demonstrate readiness to address emergencies that may arise within the community. The organization promotes a culture of hospitality encapsulated by the LCS Hospitality Promises™, which all employees are expected to observe. These promises include greeting everyone warmly by name and with a smile, treating people with courteous respect, anticipating needs, responding promptly, holding oneself and others accountable, making others feel important, valuing diversity, and always seeking to offer additional help wherever possible.
This role offers a unique opportunity not only to deliver quality nursing care but to become a part of a warm, engaging environment focused on improving the quality of life for seniors. It invites compassionate, senior care professionals who are passionate about hospitality and community engagement to apply and contribute to a remarkable mission that enriches residents' lives daily. Clarendale Ann Arbor is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer that values diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
