Job Requirements

  • 510+ years of hotel leadership experience
  • Experience with major hotel brands preferred
  • Strong financial acumen and revenue management skills
  • Proven leadership and team development abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple departments effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 510+ years of hotel leadership experience including general manager or assistant general manager roles
  • Experience with major hotel brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG preferred
  • Strong understanding of hotel financial management and revenue strategy
  • Proven success in team leadership, culture building, and operational excellence
  • Experience with new hotel openings, acquisitions, or property repositioning is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee all hotel operations including rooms, food & beverage, sales, engineering, and housekeeping
  • Ensure full compliance with brand standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction scores and service quality standards
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic budgeting and financial management
  • Monitor and manage P&L, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Identify opportunities to improve RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy performance
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Long Island market
  • Build relationships with local businesses, corporate clients, tourism organizations, and community partners
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing leadership team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and service excellence
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for department leaders
  • Partner with Sales and Revenue teams to drive group, corporate, and leisure business
  • Monitor market trends and competitor performance
  • Implement strategies to maximize market share and revenue opportunities
  • Ensure delivery of exceptional guest service and brand experiences
  • Proactively resolve guest concerns and maintain high online review ratings
