The group emphasizes cultivating a positive work environment, fostering leadership development, and ensuring compliance with brand and regulatory standards, aiming to create memorable stays for all guests while supporting team members in their professional growth.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead one of our full-service branded hotels in the competitive Long Island market. This leadership role requires a seasoned hospitality professional with a strategic mindset and a proven track record in hotel operations management. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, including rooms, food and beverage, sales, engineering, and housekeeping departments, ensuring that each function operates efficiently and cohesively. The role demands a focus on delivering high-quality guest service while maintaining compliance with brand standards and company policies.
In addition to operational oversight, the General Manager will drive the hotel's financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue streams. This includes expertise in monitoring profit and loss statements, forecasting, and identifying opportunities to enhance key performance indicators such as Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR), Average Daily Rate (ADR), and occupancy rates. Building and nurturing a high-performing leadership team is essential, as is fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across all departments.
The successful candidate will also play a pivotal role in market development by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the Long Island area. Establishing strong relationships with local businesses, corporate clients, tourism organizations, and community partners will be crucial to expanding the hotel’s market presence and driving top-line growth. Collaboration with sales and revenue teams will help implement strategies that maximize group, corporate, and leisure business while staying ahead of market trends and competitor activity.
The General Manager is expected to uphold an exceptional guest experience, actively addressing guest concerns, and maintaining high online review scores. Leadership skills that encourage team growth and development, combined with a deep understanding of hospitality financial management and revenue optimization, will be key to success in this role. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated hospitality leader to make a significant impact at a full-service branded hotel and advance their career within a supportive and growing hospitality management group.
