The current opportunity is for a customer-focused Order Fulfillment Associate, responsible for the accurate and timely picking, staging, inspection, and fulfillment of customer orders. This role requires maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety in staging areas, as well as partnering effectively with leadership and team members to ensure inventory accuracy and excellent customer service throughout the process. The position demands operation and certification of powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and narrow aisle reach trucks while adhering strictly to safety protocols. Additionally, the associate will manage administrative tasks including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management and will address any safety or theft concerns promptly.

Job Requirements
- 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
- powered equipment certification: counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck (required
- must be obtained if not already certified)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- 6 months of retail experience (preferred)
- 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department (preferred)
- 6 months of experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles (preferred)
- 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
- powered equipment certification: counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck (required
- must be obtained if not already certified)
Job Duties
- Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, keeping staging areas clean, organized, and safe
- deliver excellent service by choosing high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates when needed
- operate and maintain certification for powered equipment (forklift, order picker, narrow aisle reach truck) and follow all safety requirements
- support inventory accuracy by using the Orders App, maintaining SIMS compliance, and partnering with leadership to resolve short picks
- complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits, order follow-ups, and locker management, while reporting safety or theft concerns promptly
- achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills
- may be assigned other duties to support the needs of the business
