Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to communicate in English
  • must be able to follow dietary and safety regulations
  • able to work full-time or part-time hours as needed
  • physical ability to perform duties including standing and lifting
  • willingness to embody Christian ministry values
  • reliable and punctual
  • must pass background check

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS mission and operating philosophies
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • previous experience in food service or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist with meal preparation
  • prepare dining room for serving
  • serve meals to residents consistent with policies
  • follow all health and safety regulations
  • maintain cleanliness of dining areas
  • communicate effectively with residents and staff
  • support teamwork within the dining services
