Lincoln Embassy Suites is a distinguished full-service hotel located at 1040 P Street in Lincoln, NE 68508. Part of Atrium Hospitality, one of the largest hotel management companies in the United States, the Lincoln Embassy Suites offers guests an upscale lodging experience characterized by attentive service, modern amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. Atrium Hospitality is committed to fostering a workplace culture guided by its core values: Service, Perseverance, Inclusion, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork, collectively known as the Atrium SPIRIT. The company has a strong reputation for supporting career growth and providing employees with opportunities to thrive within the hospitality industry. Being part of this hotel means joining an organization that values each team member's contribution and promotes an environment of mutual respect and teamwork.

The full-time F/T Line Cook role at Lincoln Embassy Suites is an essential part of the culinary operations supporting both the restaurant and banquet services. This position requires preparing ingredients and cooking menu items using a variety of techniques and kitchen equipment. The Line Cook is expected to consistently recreate dishes that meet the hotel’s high standards of quality and presentation. A key responsibility includes setting up and maintaining a clean, well-stocked workstation in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. This role also contributes to the efficient management of kitchen resources by minimizing food waste and ensuring that the quality of all ingredients used meets strict standards.

Working here means embracing a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, so adaptability and a strong work ethic are vital. The ideal candidate will possess active Food Handler’s Certification or the ability to obtain one shortly after hire. Additionally, this position demands strong organizational skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, endurance to stand for long shifts, and the strength to lift up to 50 pounds. Beyond technical skills, this role requires a team-focused and energetic attitude driven by a desire to exceed expectations consistently.

The compensation for this position starts at $18.00 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to offering competitive wages in the hospitality sector. The hotel also provides numerous benefits such as opportunities for career advancement with 40% of management hires coming from internal promotions, a 401(k) plan with company match, medical, dental, and vision insurance options, paid time off and vacation, and access to Atrium’s Traveler and brand discount programs. Additional perks include Daily Pay, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, and exclusive discounts on affiliated brands and services. Employees have the opportunity to participate in community service and volunteer programs, reinforcing Atrium’s commitment to social responsibility.

Feedback from employees highlights the positive work environment. For example, a current team member, Magaly L., expressed feeling truly valued due to the strong sense of teamwork and mutual respect among peers, along with recognition from leadership. Atrium Hospitality ensures equal opportunity employment and values diversity, welcoming candidates without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. This position offers a fulfilling career path for individuals passionate about cooking and hospitality while being part of a respected and growing company dedicated to quality and employee well-being.
