The company is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their team in Lionville, Pennsylvania at the store located on 168 Eagleview Boulevard, within the deli department. This retail store position plays a critical role in daily operations, focusing on the preparation and merchandising of deli foods such as sandwiches, subs, roasted or fried chicken, appetizers, pizza, and soups. The role demands meticulous attention to food safety and sanitation, as well as excellent customer service skills to contribute positively to the overall shopping experience. This position involves responsibilities that blend culinary skills with operational efficiency, including following standard operating procedures for production, cleaning, and merchandising.
The deli team member is expected to work shifts of a minimum of four hours or more, depending on business needs, with the physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing and walking. Safety is paramount, and adherence to personal protective equipment protocols, food safety compliance, and cleanliness standards are mandatory. The role also requires participation in training and development to ensure continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous food service or retail experience beneficial
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- commitment to provide excellent customer service
- must comply with PPE requirements
- availability to work minimum 4-hour shifts or more
- must complete required trainings including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know
- must report accidents and unsafe conditions promptly
- adherence to company policies and procedures
- physical capability to perform job duties
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Review work schedule and prepare equipment and supplies
- manage production planning
- complete invoice review
- produce products for sales floor warmers and hot bar according to plan-o-gram and standard operating procedures
- clean and sanitize work surfaces and equipment
- complete food safety compliance logs daily
- track and record loss using known loss tracking
- train team members
- make sandwiches, subs, wraps, label and display as per SOP
- make pizza, cook with turbo oven, cut, package and serve pizza
- assist customers, cut, slice meat or cheese, portion deli food into containers, weigh and label items
- produce for grab and go section
- roast chicken, wrap and label
- clean roaster and dispose of oil
- batter and fry chicken, wrap and label
- add oil and clean fryer
- break down and clean equipment every 4 hours
- order products for smoked program and produce smoked products
- clean with various tools and sanitizers
- perform record-keeping for department manager
- track markdowns and Flashfoods
- review orders
- upload live freight
- merchandise all prepared food programs
- plan weekly circular ad
- organize sales floor cooler and freezer
