Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
  • capability for continual maximum job cycles
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • stand 55 percent, walk 45 percent with no sitting
  • meet category IV lifting requirements
  • maximum static pull of 20 lbs
  • work in temperature extremes from freezer to non-air-conditioned back rooms
  • follow company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals
  • complete and comply with Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know training
  • wear required PPE including cut-resistant gloves when handling knives
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions immediately
  • maintain cleanliness and proper food safety practices

Job Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • ability to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
  • meet ergonomic and physical requirements with or without accommodation
  • meet company performance standards including regular attendance
  • ability to use or learn to use required equipment and tools

Job Duties

  • Review work schedule and prepare equipment and supplies
  • manage production planning
  • complete invoice review
  • produce products for sales floor warmers and hot bar per POG and SOP
  • clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters
  • complete daily food safety compliance logs
  • track and record losses using known loss tracking
  • train team members
  • make sandwiches, subs, wraps, label and display per SOP
  • make and serve pizza
  • assist customers, cut and slice meat or cheese, portion, weigh and label deli items
  • produce grab and go section items
  • roast and wrap chicken
  • clean and maintain roaster and fryer
  • fry chicken and stock fryer
  • breakdown and clean equipment every four hours
  • order products for smoked program
  • produce smoked products per SOP
  • maintain cleanliness with various cleaning tools
  • perform record keeping assigned by manager
  • manage markdowns and Flashfoods
  • conduct order reviews and upload live freight
  • execute merchandising programs
  • plan weekly circular ad
  • organize sales floor cooler and freezer
