Job Requirements

  • Proven ability to coach, direct, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role with knowledge of kitchen production systems including pars, prep flow, packout accuracy, FIFO, labeling, and coldcase management
  • Ability to uphold and enforce kitchen standards on food safety, cleanliness, organization, and sanitation
  • Demonstrates pride in teamwork and embodies One Dove principles of kindness, respect, deliciousness, efficiency, and cleanliness
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must hold a valid Food Safety Manager Certificate
  • Capable of frequent walking, bending, reaching, and twisting during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in fast-paced food service environments
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen production systems including pars, prep flow, and FIFO
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and support diverse teams
  • Food Safety Manager Certificate
  • Experience in training and coaching team members
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the role including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Lead and coach team members during shifts to deliver excellent customer experiences
  • Oversee kitchen operations including production planning, inventory tracking, and quality control
  • Communicate effectively with managers, front-of-house, and kitchen staff to align on business needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization standards following food safety protocols
  • Assign and delegate tasks, provide feedback, and facilitate ongoing team training
  • Manage retail merchandising including stocking, organizing, and resets
  • Take decisive action to resolve challenges and support continuous improvement
