Operating primarily within the hotel sector, Stonebridge has built a strong reputation for creating welcoming and comfortable environments for guests through meticulous attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The company's dedication to equal employment opportunities and diversity in the workplace reflects its inclusive corporate culture and ethical business practices. Stonebridge offers not only a dynamic work environment but also numerous opportunities for professional growth and development within the hospitality field. The company values its team members and invests in comprehensive benefits to ensure their wellbeing and job satisfaction. This includes full access to medical, dental, and vision plans, paid time off, 401(k) matching, wellness programs, life and disability coverage, savings accounts, tuition aid, and generous travel and lodging perks.
The Room Attendant position at Stonebridge is a vital role focused on maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This part-time or full-time, non-exempt role reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor and offers a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour. Individuals in this position are responsible for ensuring that each guest room and common area meets the hotel's strict health and cleanliness standards, contributing to an overall positive guest experience. The Room Attendant must proficiently clean, organize, and maintain guest areas, ensuring that all amenities such as linens, towels, and toiletries are replenished and properly arranged. This role requires regular use of cleaning equipment and chemicals approved by the hotel, following all safety protocols to protect both the staff and guests. Key duties include vacuuming carpets, cleaning upholstered furniture, dusting and polishing fixtures, emptying trash, washing windows and surfaces, and disinfecting areas to maintain the highest standards of hygiene. Candidates must be physically able to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping and must be capable of lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds. A flexible schedule is also essential, as the role involves shifts during weekends, evenings, and holidays, adapting to the operational needs of the hotel.
Successful Room Attendants demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and effective communication skills. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not a strict requirement, as the company provides thorough training to ensure all team members meet their performance expectations. Stonebridge fosters a supportive work environment where individuals can work independently while receiving guidance from supervisors when needed. Employees are encouraged to uphold hotel policies that protect guest property and report any damages or found items promptly. The company also emphasizes reasonable accommodations to ensure that qualified individuals with disabilities can perform their duties effectively. This approach underscores Stonebridge's commitment to fairness and inclusivity.
By joining Stonebridge as a Room Attendant, team members become part of a reputable hospitality brand focused on excellence in service and operational integrity. The role provides not only an opportunity to work in a professional and respectful environment but also access to a suite of attractive benefits and career development resources that support long-term employment satisfaction. This job is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic hospitality setting, value teamwork, and take pride in delivering outstanding guest experiences through meticulous cleanliness and attention to detail.
