The role of Server in the Health Center at Dallas Retirement Village offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct, positive impact on residents' daily lives. This is a part-time or full-time role focused on delivering exceptional dining experiences by serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be a friendly and dependable individual passionate about hospitality and customer service, particularly in a senior living context. No prior experience in food service is strictly necessary, paving the way for newcomers or those with transferable skills from other industries. At Dallas Retirement Village, Servers are integral to fostering a welcoming, supportive atmosphere where every resident feels valued and cared for during mealtime.
As a Server in the Health Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring that residents receive not only nutritious but also pleasing and personalized meal service according to their dietary requirements and preferences. Responsibilities include setting and clearing tables, assisting with beverages and snacks, washing dishes, stocking supplies, and helping maintain clean and orderly dining and pantry environments. Working closely with a team of caregivers and other dining staff, you will contribute to a positive atmosphere where residents can enjoy food as a social and comforting experience.
The position offers competitive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 403(b) retirement plan with company match, paid time off including six holidays, daily pay options, tuition reimbursement, life and disability insurance, day care facilities, and a supportive team culture rich with opportunities for career advancement. At Dallas Retirement Village, your role is more than a job — it is a chance to build meaningful relationships and provide genuine care every day.
