The Front Desk Agent role at JW Marriott Bethesda is a dynamic position that combines guest engagement at the front desk with occasional shuttle driving responsibilities. This full-time, non-management role offers a pay range of $20.23 to $21.75 per hour, positioning the agent as a critical contributor to the overall guest experience. Front Desk Agents, known as Guest Experience Experts at JW Marriott, do far more than check guests in and out. They are entrusted with guiding guests through their entire stay with a thoughtful, heartfelt, and forward-thinking approach to service. This role requires delivering a wide range of services including operational processing, addressing guest requests, completing reports, and sharing insights about the local area to enhance the guest experience.

Success in this role depends on maintaining a safe workplace, adhering to company policies, protecting assets, and ensuring that personal appearance and communication are held to professional standards. The position is physically active, requiring standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • no prior related work experience required
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects up to 10 pounds
  • possess a valid driver’s license for occasional shuttle driving
  • willingness to comply with company appearance and conduct standards
