Job Description

Spark Pediatrics is the leading provider of Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) Medical Daycare in the United States, renowned for delivering exceptional care tailored to children with complex medical needs. Dedicated to serving children from infancy through young adulthood, Spark Pediatrics specializes in offering compassionate and comprehensive care that addresses the unique physical and developmental challenges faced by pediatric patients. The organization partners closely with families, physicians, and referral sources to develop personalized treatment plans that promote the health, growth, and well-being of each child. This family-centered approach ensures a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters trust and collaboration among all stakeholders.\n\nSpark Pediatrics is currently seeking a Pediatric Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Home Health Aide (HHA) to join its dedicated Medical Daycare team in Florida. This position plays a vital role in the delivery of high-quality care to children aged 0 to 21 who require nursing interventions due to physical needs. Unlike traditional healthcare roles, this unique opportunity blends aspects of medical care, childcare, and educational support, making it a fulfilling role for individuals passionate about pediatric health and development. The Medical Daycare operates Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts based on patient needs. Spark Pediatrics offers competitive compensation along with a $3000 sign-on bonus, providing an attractive incentive for qualified candidates to become a part of their innovative care team.\n\nIn this role, Pediatric CNAs/HHAs will provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, including helping children with mobility and transportation. The role also involves engaging children in various developmental and educational activities, ensuring that they reach their full potential through compassionate, patient-centered care. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, employees contribute to holistic treatment approaches that combine medical expertise with emotional support. The Pediatric CNA/HHA is expected to maintain a calm and professional demeanor within a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic daycare setting, managing moderate noise levels with grace and attentiveness. Spark Pediatrics values candidates who exhibit empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for working with children and families. The position demands familiarity with home healthcare regulations and safety protocols to provide a secure and effective care environment. Additional benefits include dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health insurance, health savings accounts, life insurance, paid time off, vision insurance, and a 401K plan.
