We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Full-Time Barback to join our team at the Olympic Bar within the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. This role is perfect for candidates passionate about delivering outstanding service and ensuring the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by keeping the bar area clean and well-stocked, enabling a seamless guest experience. This position offers an hourly wage of $22.66 plus tips, emphasizing both competitive pay and rewarding work in a prestigious setting. Job Requirements

  • Valid authorization to work in the USA
  • Food Handlers Card
  • MAST permit
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a barback or in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
  • Food Handlers Card and MAST permit required
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist bartenders in preparing and serving a wide range of beverages with precision and efficiency
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and all related equipment
  • Replenish bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and ingredients, to ensure uninterrupted service
  • Collaborate closely with the bar team to support smooth and efficient operations
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing top-notch service
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
