Renowned for its architectural beauty and sweeping views, the Fairmont Olympic provides guests an unforgettable experience that combines classic charm with modern amenities. As a key player in the hospitality industry, the hotel prides itself on maintaining high standards of excellence and fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both guests and employees.
As part of this prestigious establishment, the Olympic Bar offers a sophisticated setting where guests can relax and enjoy expertly crafted beverages. We are currently looking for a dedicated and motivated Full-Time Barback to join our esteemed team at the Olympic Bar within the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar by supporting bartenders, maintaining the bar’s cleanliness, and delivering outstanding guest service. The barback plays a critical role in the overall guest experience by anticipating the needs of the bar staff and facilitating efficient service.
This position offers an hourly wage of $22.66 plus tips, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to grow within a world-class hotel environment. The Fairmont Olympic Hotel values its employees by offering comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time colleagues and their families, a 401K retirement plan with a competitive company match, and generous paid meal breaks with complimentary meals served in the staff dining room. In addition, employees enjoy access to learning and development programs through Fairmont's Academies and benefit from an employee travel program that offers discounted rates worldwide across the Fairmont and Accor portfolio of hotels.
The ideal candidate for the barback position will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Although previous experience as a barback or in a similar role is preferred, the hotel is willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment. This role requires flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the demands of the hospitality industry. Valid authorization to work in the USA, a Food Handlers Card, and a MAST permit are mandatory for employment in this role.

The hotel fosters an environment where employees are encouraged to develop their talents, make meaningful contributions, and thrive both personally and professionally. If you are ready to be part of an extraordinary team in an elegant, historic setting, and are passionate about hospitality, we invite you to apply for the barback position at the Olympic Bar and embark on a rewarding career journey with the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.
