The Assistant Manager (AST) at Regal Cinemas Crossgates Mall plays a vital leadership role as a full-time hourly position supporting the General Manager in overseeing theater operations, coaching and developing staff, and ensuring guests enjoy an outstanding theater experience. This role is designed for an inspiring leader with a passion for operational excellence and team engagement. The Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining high standards of professionalism, facility cleanliness, technical expertise with projection and audio-visual equipment, as well as delivering superior food and beverage service. The position involves handling a broad range of operational duties, from employee supervision and training, scheduling, cost control and inventory management, to marketing, maintenance oversight, and guest satisfaction. The Assistant Manager ensures compliance with all company policies and safety regulations, including alcohol service certification.

In addition, Assistant Managers are instrumental in maintaining a safe theater environment by monitoring risk management protocols related to employee and patron safety, loss prevention, and emergency handling. This supervisory role requires the ability to multitask and lead by example, often filling in as needed for various staff positions to support smooth front-of-house and operational functions.
