We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeping Supervisor who will play a crucial role in maintaining the resort's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, leading a team of housekeeping staff, and ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet stringent cleanliness and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong leadership skills to motivate and train the team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach, you will be entrusted with managing cleaning schedules, inventory control, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and collaborating with other departments to support seamless operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least six months experience in housekeeping or cleaning
  • proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • demonstrated attention to detail
  • proficiency with relevant housekeeping technology
  • availability to work weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Six months experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role
  • proven supervisory or leadership experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills including bilingual ability as a plus
  • ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • keen attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • proficiency with housekeeping software and systems
  • flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate housekeeping activities including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and laundry operations
  • train, motivate, and mentor housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service
  • conduct inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards
  • collaborate with other departments to meet guest expectations and address issues
  • maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • assist in scheduling and coordinating staff shifts
  • handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
  • uphold safety and sanitation standards ensuring a healthy work environment
