The FSY Spring & Summer Camps Food Service Worker position at BYU Dining Services is a temporary role designed to support the food service needs for FSY (For the Strength of Youth) participants. This role is essential in preparing and serving food during the FSY camps scheduled approximately from May 1st to August 22nd. The position offers a starting pay of $12 per hour plus an additional $2 per hour in dining credit, reflecting a competitive wage for a temporary employment opportunity. As a food service worker, you will be interacting directly with campers, counselors, and other staff, playing a vital role in ensuring a pleasant and efficient dining experience for all.

This job includes various responsibilities such as cooking, hosting, serving food, stocking and receiving products, and maintaining cleanliness by bussing tables and working in the scullery. Candidates for this role need to be dependable, honest, and capable of multitasking effectively, with the ability to work independently without direct supervision. They must obtain a Food Handler's permit and complete required online training within one week of hire, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
