Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous hospital and food service experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- ability to demonstrate clear oral and written communication skills
- ability to follow simple recipes
- knowledge of food safety guidelines
- knowledge and ability to operate basic kitchen equipment
- PC competency including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel)
- ability to provide exceptional customer service
- ability to maintain collaborative working relationships
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist dishwasher with cleaning and sanitizing dishes
- assists in orienting new employees to department
- assists in setting up, serving and breaking down catered events
- cleans freezers, refrigerators and storage areas
- delivers and serves food to patients, family and employees
- helps other kitchen personnel in the preparation and arrangement of meals
- helps with assigned cleaning and date/label duties
- sets up trays according to department guidelines
- stocks supplies
- takes all patient and guest food requests
- other duties as assigned
