This dedication to career development and workplace excellence makes Westgate Las Vegas an attractive employer in the hospitality industry.

The Fry Cook position at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is a vital culinary role that involves preparing food safely and efficiently at the designated kitchen fry station according to established recipe standards. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and presentation, ensuring all food items are appealing and meet the high expectations of guests in a fast-paced resort environment. The Fry Cook must maintain appropriate par levels of menu items to guarantee consistent service throughout meal periods, contributing directly to the exceptional dining experience for which Westgate is known. Working at Westgate means being part of a team that values professionalism, communication, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. The role entails significant physical activity including operating kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, broilers, ovens, and mixers, as well as maintaining a clean and orderly workspace through consistent "clean as you go" practices. The Fry Cook will communicate regularly with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth kitchen operations and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and efficiency in a sometimes challenging environment characterized by heat, noise, and wet conditions. This position also requires compliance with government licensing and certification requirements, including the ability to obtain or renew a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Non-Gaming Work Permit and a Clark County Health Card.
