Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age
- Previous experience as a line cook preferred
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs
- Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
Job Duties
- Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality and rotating stock
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures by regulating ovens and grills
- Season and cook food according to recipes
- Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes
- Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods
- Close the kitchen properly and follow closing checklist
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager
