We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to join our passionate team at Hilton Minneapolis Airport. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly salary ranging from $18.00 to $21.50, based on experience. The Front Office Manager is essential in overseeing and managing all aspects of the front office operations to ensure seamless guest experiences. This role involves supervising front office staff including front desk agents, supervisors, guest service aides, concierge, and PBX operators. Responsibilities include scheduling and training staff to maintain appropriate staffing levels, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and handling inquiries and guest issues professionally and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of front office operations, including proficiency in the MICROS system, handling daily and complex transactions, and managing AM and PM discrepancy reports accurately.

The Front Office Manager acts as a communication hub between the front office and other hotel departments like Housekeeping and Engineering to address guest room requests and maintenance promptly. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills to greet and assist guests cordially, manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and uphold Hilton's commitment to delivering exceptional guest service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in front office or hospitality management preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in hotel management software such as MICROS
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper staffing levels of front office associates including interviewing, hiring, supervising, training and scheduling front desk agents, front office supervisors, guest service aides/bell staff, concierge staff and PBX operators
  • Have complete understanding of Front Office staff's roles and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time
  • Accurately manage and operate the MICROS system at the front office, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often
  • Accurately check AM and PM discrepancy reports
  • Communicate with Housekeeping and Engineering Departments regarding guest rooms, requests and maintenance requests/needs
  • Efficiently process guest requests to the appropriate departments
  • Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel, answering questions, and assisting guests with needs
