The company fosters a collaborative and dynamic work environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and professional development in the hospitality sector. This hotel is looking to expand its team by hiring a proactive and experienced Front Office Manager. This role is hourly paid at a rate of $23.00 and represents an essential leadership position within the frontline operations of the hotel.
As the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various front office operations to ensure seamless and efficient services for all guests. This role requires managing proper staffing levels of front office associates, including interviewing, hiring, supervising, training, and scheduling front desk agents, front office supervisors, guest service aides, bell staff, concierge staff, and PBX operators. You will need to have a complete understanding of the front office staff's roles and duties and be capable of performing any of these duties when necessary, ensuring smooth operations at all times.
Key responsibilities include accurately managing the MICROS system at the front office to handle all daily transactions and those infrequent but essential transactions, as well as carefully checking AM and PM discrepancy reports to maintain precise financial records. Effective communication with the Housekeeping and Engineering Departments is critical, as you will be responsible for managing guest room requests, maintenance requests, and ensuring an efficient processing system to meet guests’ needs promptly.
Additionally, the Front Office Manager will greet and communicate cordially with guests, offering professional and prompt check-in and check-out services, answering inquiries, and assisting guests with various needs. The role demands a high level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage stressful situations calmly and effectively. The successful candidate will contribute to creating positive experiences for our guests and uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
This position requires flexibility in working schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the operational needs of a hospitality environment. Candidates should demonstrate high work ethic, self-initiative, and a team-oriented mindset. We are searching for individuals who enjoy being part of a team focused on providing great guest experiences. If you have a passion for hospitality management and leading a dedicated team in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment, this opportunity provides a rewarding career path with competitive pay and potential for growth within the company.
