This role is a Front Office Supervisor position at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis, a critical leadership role responsible for guiding and motivating the front desk associates who manage guest registration, handle inquiries, and communicate hotel services and promotions. The Front Office Supervisor serves as a key liaison between guests and senior management, ensuring smooth daily operations and an exceptional experience for all visitors. This role offers the opportunity to hone leadership skills in a fast-paced environment while actively contributing to delivering high-quality guest service. Responsibilities may include coaching team members, scheduling, payroll, interviewing, and directly supporting guest engagement during check-in and check-out processes. The position is designed to blend hands-on management with meaningful interaction with guests, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that aligns with Hyatt’s service philosophy.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in front office operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Customer service oriented
  • Basic computer proficiency

Job Duties

  • Lead front office agents who manage guest registration and promote hotel services and promotions
  • Coach and give direction to front office associates
  • Support senior leadership by assuming basic management responsibilities
  • Manage training, scheduling, payroll, and interviewing for front office staff
  • Process forms of payment and respond to guest inquiries
  • Ensure smooth daily front office operations
  • Maintain a positive guest experience through effective communication
