The position of Front Office Supervisor at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center is a full-time role that offers an hourly wage of $18.00 paid biweekly. This role carries significant responsibility in overseeing all Front Office, Reservation, and Guest Services operations to maintain excellent customer satisfaction, financial performance, and positive team member relations. The role is critical to upholding the property’s commitment to hospitality excellence and enacting Pyramid Global Hospitality’s values—referred to as the Aggie Path of P.R.I.D.E.—which include positivity, respect, integrity, dedication, and excellence.

In this leadership role, the Front Office Supervisor supports the training and motivation of team members to ensure effective job performance. They assist in maintaining operating and training manuals and ensure all teams comply with systems, control policies, and procedures. The supervisor also supports human resource functions such as hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating team members and may assume Manager on Duty shifts when required. This position demands excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve guest issues promptly and professionally while delivering exceptional guest service consistently.

Job Duties

  • Support in supervising the training of all Front Office, Reservations, and Guest Service team members and motivate them to perform their jobs effectively
  • Assist in the maintenance of operating / training manuals
  • Responsible for ensuring that the teams comply with all systems, control policies, and procedures
  • Supports Human Resource functions for staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
  • Assume Manager on Duty shifts when necessary
  • Develop and maintain open lines of communication within the department and with other departments within the property
  • Resolve guest problems expediently and in a professional manner
  • Ensure exceptional guest service is consistently provided
  • Delegate work among the staff in an equitable manner
  • Assist in covering front desk shifts when needed
