This full-time, non-management position offers a competitive hourly wage of $27.58. The Front Desk Associate plays a vital role in creating a seamless and welcoming experience for all guests. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling various payment transactions including credit card issues, cash, checks, and debit, and accurately setting up guest accounts with shared billing or separate charges. The associate is also responsible for addressing guest concerns, coordinating with housekeeping and bell services to meet guest needs promptly, and maintaining communication through detailed shift logs and memos. Attention to detail and exceptional communication skills are essential as the associate ensures that all guests receive the highest level of service and that any problems are resolved efficiently.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Availability for day, evening, and open shifts preferably
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Capability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
- Completion of safety training and certifications

Job Duties
- Assist staff with expediting problem payments such as problems processing credit cards
- Follow up with guests regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues
- Process all guest check-ins including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys
- Handle all payment types including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit
- Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in including shared bills and separate charges
- Anticipate sold-out situations and find alternative accommodations
- Coordinate with departments such as Bellperson and Housekeeping to resolve guest requests
- Track room readiness with Housekeeping
- Review and document shift logs and daily memo books
- Count cash bank at start and end of shifts
- Balance and drop receipts as per accounting specifications
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
- Serve as first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door Policy processes
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Follow company policies and maintain professional appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Anticipate and address guest service needs
- Speak and write clearly and professionally
- Answer phones using proper etiquette
- Develop positive working relationships
- Ensure quality standards are met
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Move objects up to 10 pounds
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested
