Job Description
Our oral surgery practice is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care with a focus on oral surgery and specialty dental services. Operating across multiple locations including Van Nuys, Burbank, San Gabriel, and Covina, we pride ourselves on maintaining a professional, patient-centered environment that blends expertise with compassionate care. As a family practice with a non-corporate atmosphere, we emphasize teamwork, reliability, and high-quality patient service. Our teams work collaboratively to ensure that every patient receives personalized attention and efficient care throughout their dental experience.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive Front Office Receptionist to join our dental team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our practice as the first point of contact for patients and ensures a welcoming and professional front desk experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working in dental front office settings, preferably within oral surgery or specialty dental practices, where scheduling, insurance coordination, and patient flow management are critical. While prior experience is preferred, comprehensive training will be provided for motivated individuals committed to growing their skills and contributing to the practice's success.
In this position, you will be responsible for greeting patients warmly, managing appointment scheduling and confirmations using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, and collecting patient payments. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA is essential. You will handle multi-line phone systems professionally, support office operations, and assist clinical staff as needed. This role suits individuals who thrive in fast-paced clinical environments and are eager to develop their careers within a supportive, patient-focused dental specialty practice. Compensation is competitive, ranging from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience and skill set. This position requires in-person work with flexibility to work across multiple office locations considered a major advantage, reflecting our commitment to comprehensive patient care and team collaboration.
