Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel front office or managerial roles
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of front office operations and night audit procedures
  • Proficiency in reservation and property management systems
  • Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Capability to supervise and train staff
  • Understanding of financial reporting and budgeting
  • Commitment to uphold company standards and policies

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel front office management or similar role
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent guest service and communication abilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent, higher education or hospitality certifications preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage all Front Office operations including guest service and registration, room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and profitability, marketing initiatives, systems management, budgeting and forecasting, policy implementation and enforcement, meeting participation and facilitation
  • Monitor and develop team member performance including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, recognition and reward
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with Company standards
  • Meet and greet guests and respond to inquiries, requests and issues in a timely and friendly manner, resolving guest concerns
  • Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize revenue
  • Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing, policies, and local area information
  • Complete audit procedures as needed
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
  • Complete Night Audit process ensuring accuracy of financial transactions, reporting and system balancing
  • Review arrivals, departures and VIPs for operational readiness
