Job Description
Our establishment is a renowned hotel known for its dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences and top-notch hospitality services. With a strong reputation in the hotel industry, we pride ourselves on our warm, welcoming atmosphere and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of our operations. We cater to a diverse clientele, including business travelers, vacationers, and event attendees, ensuring that each guest feels valued and well-cared for during their stay. Our team is composed of experienced professionals focused on delivering personalized services that exceed guest expectations. Our hotel offers a dynamic work environment where innovation, teamwork, and professional growth are encouraged and rewarded.
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Front Office Manager to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of guest service at the front desk and throughout the guest experience. The Front Office Manager will anticipate guest needs, greet and communicate cordially with guests, and manage the entire check-in and check-out process promptly and professionally. This individual will supervise, train, and coordinate a team of front office associates including front desk agents, supervisors, guest service aides, bell staff, concierge staff, and PBX operators. The manager will ensure proper staffing levels, conduct interviews and hiring, administer training programs, and develop schedules to optimize efficiency.
Handling guest complaints with professionalism and creativity is paramount, ensuring that any issues are resolved to the guest's satisfaction while maintaining positive relations. The Front Office Manager will also expertly manage the MICROS system used for daily transactions and less frequent operations, guaranteeing financial accuracy and operational smoothness. The role demands an individual with strong communication skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to perform administrative duties in a fast-paced environment.
This is an in-office full-time position that requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer for 6-8 hours daily, as well as occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting items weighing between 10-25 pounds. The ability to effectively use fine motor skills for typing, mouse operation, and handling office equipment is expected. This thoughtful role also requires good visual acuity for reading screens and printed materials, auditory skills for effective participation in conversations and meetings, and flexibility with reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Join us as a Front Office Manager and contribute to delivering memorable and seamless guest experiences that distinguish our hotel from the competition.
