Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in front office operations or hospitality
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Familiarity with front office software and property management systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies
- Basic computer proficiency

Job Duties
- Schedule and supervise workload during shifts of front office associates
- Train new employees and evaluate job performance of front office associates providing coaching when necessary
- Maintain positive working relationships and communicate with all departments
- Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure accurate room status information is communicated
- Resolve guest concerns quickly, efficiently, and courteously
- Update group information and prepare group requirements relaying them to appropriate individuals and departments
- Work within the allocated budget for the front office
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings of front office team members
- Prepare and review daily front desk reporting and take action as appropriate
- Ensure implementation and compliance of company policies and brand standards
- Operate front office computer system including software maintenance, report generation and analysis, and simple configuration changes
- Ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous at all times
- Act as the Manager on Duty providing guidance and support to all hotel departments when required
- Assist other hotel areas such as housekeeping, breakfast, or engineering when needed
- Assist in the selection process for new team members
- Complete weekly schedules and coordinate absence coverage for front office team members
