Known for its commitment to quality and guest satisfaction, HHM Hotels operates a range of properties that cater to diverse traveler needs, from business to leisure. The company prides itself on maintaining high standards of service while fostering an environment that values sustainability and continuous improvement. This approach positions HHM Hotels as a leader in the hospitality industry, emphasizing both operational excellence and a strong company culture.
The Front Office Manager role at HHM Hotels is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel front office operations. This role is designed for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest service. The successful candidate will manage front office staff, ensuring that all interactions with guests reflect the brand’s values and standards. With a salary range of $80,000 to $85,000 per year, this full-time position offers a clear career growth path, including opportunities to advance to Assistant General Manager, General Manager, and eventually Area General Manager roles.
In this leadership role, the Front Office Manager will interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates to maximize their performance and adherence to established hotel standards. A major focus is on driving guest satisfaction scores higher by implementing effective strategies and responding proactively to guest feedback. Financial stewardship is also a critical aspect, as the manager will monitor all front office financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Budget management is integral, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of departmental budgets and forecasts, alongside the review and approval of capital expenditures.
This role extends beyond guest interaction to include supervising guest services department managers, managing vendor and personnel contracts, and optimizing room occupancy rates to reduce overbooking risks. The Front Office Manager will create and enforce actionable plans to remedy any service deficiencies, ensuring guests receive a consistently high standard of care. Safety is also prioritized, with expectations to model safe work habits and compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
The work environment for this position involves variable schedules, including holidays and weekends, and physical demands such as standing for long periods, walking, lifting, and other physical activities. HHM Hotels supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package including competitive wages, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401k plan with company match, daily pay options, basic life insurance, and wellness programs among others.
Joining HHM Hotels means becoming part of a culture that believes in the power of its people, emphasizes service with heart, strives for excellence, encourages agility, and promotes ownership at all levels. This role is ideal for a proactive leader ready to contribute to and grow with a company that values professionalism, guest satisfaction, and employee well-being.
