Job Requirements

  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
  • At least 2 years of related experience
  • Previous management experience required
  • Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace
  • Must have the ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources
  • Must be effective at listening and clarifying concerns
  • Must be able to work with financial data and perform basic arithmetic functions

Job Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • At least 2 years of related management experience
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle financial information and basic arithmetic
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure
  • Experience in conducting interviews and staff development

Job Duties

  • Ensure operation of guest services, concierge, uniformed services, housekeeping, laundry, security, communications, and reservations in an efficient manner
  • Provide quality service while maximizing room revenue and productivity
  • Develop managers and employees through motivation, coaching, counseling, and discipline
  • Maintain warm and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and employees
  • Monitor room revenue, occupancy, and expenses to maximize profitability
  • Conduct walk-throughs of public areas and guestrooms to maintain cleanliness and maintenance standards
  • Operate front office computer systems, including software maintenance and report generation
