The Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Bellevue Downtown, WA, is seeking a passionate and personable Front Office Manager to join their team. This role is vital as the first point of contact for guests, providing exemplary customer service and creating memorable experiences from arrival through departure. The Front Office Manager will lead by example, supervising and championing the front desk staff to foster lasting impressions and enhance guest loyalty. This position requires a proactive leader who can oversee hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and scheduling the front office team to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates will bring at least two years of progressive experience in hotel management or a related field, including supervisory experience. They must exhibit exceptional customer service skills, proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members at all levels. The role demands strong problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns promptly and to maintain satisfaction. Candidates should be capable of multitasking and prioritizing departmental functions in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with multiple departments to meet guest needs efficiently.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant hotel or hospitality experience
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexible hours including long shifts when required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee hiring, training, coaching, mentoring and scheduling for the front office team
  • Proactively garner relationships with long term and repeat guests to develop loyalty and maintain a high level of satisfaction
  • Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues to their satisfaction
  • Supervise ordering and inventory for front office supplies within a set budget
  • Handle continuous requests in a fast-paced environment by coordinating with other departments to ensure all guest requests are met
  • Ensure all front desk checklists and procedures are followed and review daily work to confirm it is error-free
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures and be able to post and reconcile charges applied to guest receipts
  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
