Founded in 2008, Meeting Street Schools has a committed mission to empower children through life-changing educational opportunities. These schools focus on excellence in teaching, innovative methods, measurable student achievement, and cultivating a growth mindset. Valuing gratitude and responsibility, they maintain a family-centered approach that expects and fosters high expectations, ambition, and a continuous push for improvement. The network uniquely prioritizes creating a supportive, inclusive environment that enables every student to succeed and reach their full potential. Employment with Meeting Street Schools is offered as an hourly position with a competitive starting pay range of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, paired with a robust benefits package that underscores the organization’s commitment to staff well-being and community excellence.

The role of Front Office Lead at Meeting Street Schools is vital as the welcoming and professional face of the school environment. This position demands a calm, composed, and empathetic individual who can provide exceptional customer service and administrative support, ensuring that every student, family, visitor, and staff member feels valued and supported from the moment they enter the school. The Front Office Lead will oversee the daily operations of the front office ensuring smooth functionality and a positive atmosphere that aligns with the school’s core values of gratitude, responsibility, growth mindset, innovation, and exceptional achievement. Responsibilities include greeting visitors warmly, managing phone communications, handling mail and deliveries, and maintaining an organized and welcoming physical space. The role also provides critical support in family and student services by coordinating enrollment, attendance tracking, student check-ins and check-outs, and managing uniform inventories. Safety and security are paramount, with duties covering visitor management, secure key and access card controls, and updating student dismissal and transportation plans in cooperation with the operations team.

As part of the broader Operations Team, the Front Office Lead will assist in maintaining accurate student records, managing lost-and-found inventories, and supporting special projects that enhance daily school operations. The role requires someone who can balance organizational skills with heart, actively building strong, compassionate relationships across the school community and participating in ongoing professional development and school events. This role is designed for high performers who share Meeting Street Schools' dedication to educational equity and excellence and who thrive in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment. Ideal candidates will bring at least three years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or administrative support, proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, and a strong commitment to the school’s mission and values. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly favored, reflecting the school’s inclusive approach to community engagement.

The comprehensive benefits offered alongside the competitive hourly wage include health, dental, vision, and pet insurance; life insurance and disability coverage; employee and family wellness programs; tax-favored spending accounts like FSAs and HSAs; retirement plans; and referral bonuses. Meeting Street Schools takes pride in being an equal employment opportunity employer, with decisions based solely on merit and business needs while fostering diversity and inclusion at every level. This role offers a meaningful career path for dedicated administrative professionals eager to make a significant impact in the lives of students and families by supporting and advancing an empowering educational mission.
