The Patient Coordinator Lead, also known as the Front Office Receptionist Lead, plays a pivotal role in the smooth operation of the dental office. This position is essential for managing appointment scheduling, performing front desk check-in and check-out duties, and assisting with administrative tasks as necessary. The Patient Coordinator Lead acts as a key point of contact for patients and parents, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing of patient information. The role demands a proactive individual who can multitask effectively, navigate insurance verifications, and support treatment scheduling and follow-up procedures. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred 6 months or more of healthcare or dental front office experience
- Ability to perform front desk duties including check-in and check-out
- Capability to verify insurance eligibility
- Ability to collect and process payments
- Strong organizational skills

Job Duties
- Collect and process payments
- When authorizations are received back in the mail, import and call parents
- Schedule treatment appointments and recall appointments
- Confirm treatment appointments
- Answer calls throughout the day
- Process no show reports
- Schedule patients from ASAP list
- Check patients in and out
- Verify info on file
- Verify eligibility with insurance
- Call patients when past 10 mins
- Confirm observation appointments
- Schedule observation appointments
- Work on daily sign in sheet
- Scan in NPP and enter it in the system
