We are currently seeking a Front Office II professional for a seasonal contract position with the potential for hire. This role plays a critical part in the smooth operation and patient experience of our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and administrative skills in addition to a compassionate and discrete demeanor necessary for handling sensitive healthcare information. As the first point of contact for patients, the Front Office II professional will be responsible for managing patient receptions, scheduling appointments, and supporting the healthcare team with efficient office coordination. This individual must be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced medical environment and exhibit strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, insurance companies, and the clinical team.
The position requires an ability to remain calm and professional during patient emergencies and to prioritize tasks to uphold an efficient workflow. Additionally, maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all healthcare regulations and office protocols are paramount duties. The role operates Monday through Friday, eight-hour shifts, and mandates on-site attendance to ensure day-to-day requirements are met. Comprehensive computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office and healthcare-related software applications, is essential to excel in this position.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a front office administrator receptionist or similar in healthcare or dental setting
- Proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Must be available to work on-site Monday to Friday during an eight-hour shift
- Physical ability to sit stoop turn stand bend walk hear read write and keyboard with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
- Willingness to perform other tasks as assigned by management

Job Duties
- Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanor ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable upon arrival
- Handle patient registration verify insurance information and assist with paperwork
- Manage the appointment calendar efficiently to optimize patient visits
- Coordinate with oral surgeons and clinical staff to minimize waiting times
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain and update patient records accurately and confidentially
- Collaborate with patients to verify insurance coverage including prior authorizations and pre-determination
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating administrative tasks ordering office supplies managing mail and vendor coordination
- Strive to deliver exceptional customer service addressing patient concerns and resolving issues
- Comply with office policies procedures and protocols maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctors staff and patient information
